What is SEE?
Secondary Education Examination (SEE) previously known as
SLC is one of the most popular examinations of Nepal. The Secondary Education
Examination (SEE) is the final examination in the secondary school system of
Nepal which is being taken by National Examination Board (NEA). National Examination
Board upgraded from what was previously known as School Leaving Certificate
(SLC). The first SLC examinations were held in 1934 (1990 BS). Since then
several improvements have occurred in the practice of conducting SLC examination.
The Office of Controller of Examinations (OCE) is
established under the Government of Nepal/Ministry of Education. Its main
functions are to manage and conduct the School Leaving Certificate (SLC)
Examinations. The Office of Controller of Examinations (OCE) conducts National Level Examinations of more than 300
thousand students every year. The SLC examination has become an important part
of life of a student as it determines educational career path of him/her. The OCE
has been working as recognized institution of examination under the Ministry of
Education. The Office of the controller of Examinations (OCE) is located at
Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.
Every student must take this examination for completing the
10th grade of their study (According to new Education Act) before
they join higher secondary or intermediate level education (12th
grade). The SEE examination is said be scheduled in March of every year. As the
new Education Act, 2016 (2073) has been implemented, the SLC examination will
be taken place in Grade 12 as national level examination whereas the
examination of Grade 10 will be known as Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
The new Education Act was implemented from 2017 March.
When SEE 2077 Result will be published?
Secondary Education Examination (SEE) was previously
scheduled to be held on Chaitra, 2077 the examination was cancelled a day
before because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
How to Check SEE Result 2077?
The result of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2077 will be published soon. The students or guardians can check the Grade 10/ SEE examination results via various websites, SMS service providers, and/ or IVR services. Students can check the results of SEE from Lumbini Media Results site free of cost once the result is published. Apart from Lumbini Media, students can also view their results on the websites of National Examination Board (NEB), Nepal Telecom (NTC), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), etc.
How to check SLC Result using Mobile or Telephone?
1. Dial 1600 and check your SLC Result. You can
dial 1600 via your NTC prepaid or postpaid moble phone, Landline and CDMA
phone.
2. To check SLC Result via sms please follow the instructions:
Go to Messages >
Create New Message > Type slc <space>symbol number with alphabet and send it to 1600
Example: Type SLC 0123456A and send it to 1600
Also you can check SLC
Result via your GSM mobile set by using this code *1600*symbolnumber#
(Note: Don’t include alphabet for this process).
What is SEE grading system in Nepal?
Since 2016 A.D. the results of SEE examination is being
published in Grade System
